Stainless Steel 904L Tube Fittings consist of high percentages of nickel (23–28%) and chromium (19–23%), with the addition of molybdenum (4–5%) and copper (1–2%) for enhanced corrosion resistance. The fittings are resistant to reducing acids, chloride stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion. Mechanically, 904L has a tensile strength of approximately 490 MPa and yield strength of 220 MPa, excellent elongation (35%), and impact resistance. Its low carbon content makes it weldable and reduces the likelihood of intergranular corrosion, making it perfect for aggressive environments.
