Stainless Steel 253MA Coils have 21% chromium, 11% nickel, and important elements such as silicon, nitrogen, and cerium, imparting high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation. The tensile strength is about 600 MPa and yield strength about 310 MPa. They have good mechanical properties at high temperatures, with good creep strength. The coils also have good weldability and medium formability. Used for applications up to 1100°C, SS 253MA coils are best suited for processes that need extended exposure to heat and stress without compromising performance.
