ED Stainless is a reliable supplier of AWS Class ER347 SAW wire and compatible flux in Houston, USA. We provide effective welding solutions for high-temperature and corrosion-resistant applications. Designed for submerged arc welding (SAW), ER347 filler metal enables stable welding for stainless steels with similar compositions. Our flux is made to work well with the wire, ensuring excellent slag removal, low spatter, and a consistent bead appearance. ED Stainless offers high-quality welding materials tailored for the power generation, chemical processing, and aerospace industries, where metallurgical stability and weld integrity are crucial under extreme thermal and mechanical stresses.
ER347 is a niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel welding wire, primarily made of 19–21% Chromium, 9–11% Nickel, and small amounts of Niobium (~0.3–1.0%). It provides strong resistance to intergranular corrosion while maintaining mechanical strength at high temperatures. The weld metal typically achieves a tensile strength above 570 MPa and an elongation above 35%. When used with the right flux, it creates a clean, ductile, and strong weld with minimal cracking. ER347 is ideal for long-term exposure to high temperatures without carbide precipitation, making it suitable for thermal cycling environments.

For added assurance, we offer third-party inspection certificates, validating the excellence and suitability of our AWS Class ER347 SAW and FLUX across various applications and ensuring client satisfaction.
ER347 SAW and flux combinations are commonly used for welding stainless steel parts in heat exchangers, chemical reactors, pressure vessels, and high-temperature piping systems. Their resistance to carbide precipitation makes them perfect for high-temperature applications in the petrochemical, power generation, and aerospace industries. These materials also work well for welding AISI 321 and 347 base metals, where thermal fatigue resistance is important. ER347 is often used in fabricating furnace parts, exhaust systems, and boiler components due to its ability to maintain toughness and strength during long-term service at high temperatures.
