Ed Stainless specializes in producing and distributing EP (Electropolished) Elbows and Bends in Houston, USA, designed for sanitary process systems where flow direction changes and contamination control are necessary. Offered in 45°, 90°, and made-to-order angles, our EP elbows and bends are made of SS 316L and internally polished to ASME BPE standards. Our fittings offer a corrosion-free and hygienic solution for demanding applications in pharmaceutical, food, and cleanroom areas. Our fittings exhibit high dimensional accuracy and smooth internal finishes, ensuring reliable and clean fluid transfer through different piping orientations.
Manufactured from Stainless Steel 316L, EP Bends and Elbows have 16–18% chromium content, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, providing superior corrosion and chemical resistance. Tensile strength is around 485 MPa with a yield strength of 170 MPa. The electropolishing treatment provides Ra values ≤ 0.38 μm, minimizing particulate adhesion and microbial contamination risks. The fittings are of high integrity for sterilization cycles and easily suited to orbital welding processes. Their mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and cleanliness are well-suited for continuous use in high-purity systems.

We believes in stringent testing procedures for all EP Elbows and Bends. Dimensional checks, pressure tests, and material analysis ensure the high quality of products. Each piece is certified to the international standards of ASTM and ASME, ensuring high performance, reliability, and adherence to the mandates of safety and durability in the industry.
SS EP elbows are stainless steel fittings with an electroplated finish, designed to change the direction of pipes. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and reliable performance in various applications.
SS EP bends are stainless steel, electroplated fittings used to change the direction of pipes or tubing. They provide high corrosion resistance, strength, and durability for reliable performance in demanding environments.
Stainless Steel Electropolished Bend is a corrosion-resistant fitting with a smooth, polished surface. It changes the direction of pipes or tubing, offering enhanced durability and a clean, aesthetically pleasing finish.
SS EP return bends are stainless steel, electroplated bends designed to change the direction of pipes or tubing. They provide corrosion resistance and durability, ensuring reliable performance in various industrial applications.
stainless steel EP U-bend is a corrosion-resistant fitting with an electroplated finish, designed to create a U-shaped bend in pipes or tubing, ensuring durability and smooth fluid flow.
Stainless steel dairy elbow fittings are specialized components designed for hygienic, seamless connections in dairy processing systems. They provide corrosion resistance and smooth flow, ensuring cleanliness and durability in dairy applications.
EP Elbows and Bends are used in pharmaceutical production, food and beverage lines, biotechnology facilities, and chemical process systems. They are fitted in fluid flow systems where direction changes are required without compromising cleanliness and flow. These elbows provide a seamless transition of flow in CIP and SIP operations while reducing turbulence and dead spots. Typical uses are for sterile piping loops, transfer lines, and process vessels. Ed Stainless provides elbows in a range of radii available (short/long) and end configurations to facilitate compatibility and performance within the most demanding high-purity environments.
