ER630 includes 15–17.5% Chromium, 3–5% Nickel, 3–5% Copper, and 0.15–0.45% Niobium, along with balanced amounts of Manganese and Silicon. It achieves tensile strengths above 1100 MPa and yield strength around 1000 MPa after aging treatment (H900). The alloy shows great toughness, machinability, and fair corrosion resistance. Used in both MIG and TIG processes, ER630 filler creates strong, crack-resistant welds with little distortion. It is best for situations that need high mechanical performance and dimensional stability under mechanical and thermal stress.
