Ed Stainless provides AWS Class E410-16 Electrodes, utilized for welding martensitic stainless steels and low-alloy steels. These electrodes generate welds with good corrosion resistance and strong crack resistance in moderate temperature applications. E410-16 electrodes are suited to be used in power generation, petrochemical, and manufacturing industries, where welding of the components subjected to moderate temperature and mechanical loads is necessary. They find extensive application in welding piping systems, pressure vessels, and other equipment in industries. The electrodes produce high-quality welds with high durability that provide structural integrity when subjected to thermal as well as mechanical loads.
AWS Class E410-16 Electrodes have 10-13% Chromium content, giving them a moderate level of corrosion resistance. They have a tensile strength of about 600-750 MPa and yield strength of about 250 MPa, giving durable and crack-resistant welds in high-stress conditions. The electrodes are designed to give good weldability with low spatter and little slag, giving excellent arc stability. These electrodes offer a compromise of strength, hardness, and resistance to corrosion and are therefore used for welding martensitic stainless steels and low-alloy steels where strong, crack-resistant welds are needed.
