Ed Stainless provides AWS Class E310-16 Electrodes, suitable for welding high-alloy stainless steels, particularly those subject to extremely high temperatures. These electrodes have a great resistance to heat and oxidation and are thus ideal for high-temperature applications. E310-16 electrodes are often utilized in the manufacture of equipment for the chemical, power generation, and petrochemical industries, where temperature extremes and thermal fatigue are prevalent. Whether used for welding furnace parts, reactors, or heat exchangers, such electrodes provide consistent, long-lasting welds that resist high thermal stress without sacrificing strength or integrity.
AWS Class E310-16 Electrodes have high percentages of Chromium (25-30%) and Nickel (20-25%), with excellent resistance to heat, oxidation, and corrosion. Such electrodes are designed to resist high temperature and have excellent strength and durability. With tensile strength of 600 to 800 MPa and yield strength of about 250 MPa, they work best in high-temperature applications. The electrodes offer excellent arc stability, low spatter, and ease of slag removal, making for high-quality welds in applications where performance in harsh conditions is paramount.
