AWS Class E309/309L-16 Electrodes have 22-25% Chromium and 12-15% Nickel contentproviding superior oxidation, corrosion, and high-temperature degradation resistance. The “L” grade low carbon content reduces carbide precipitation, resulting in the stability of the weld for a long time. Tensile strength ranges from 550 to 750 MPa, while yield strength is approximately 210 MPa. These electrodes offer better arc stability, low spatter, and simple slag removal, making them suitable for applications where dependable, high-strength welds are needed to endure aggressive environments and high temperatures.
