AWS Class E410NiMo-16 Electrodes have about 11-13% Chromium, with 1-2% Nickel and Molybdenum. It has good resistance against thermal stress, oxidation, and corrosion due to this combination. The electrodes give tensile strength between 550 MPa and 700 MPa and yield strength approximately 250 MPa. Its composition also provides good weldability, resistance to crack, and stability at elevated temperaturesAddition of Molybdenum also increases strength as well as toughness of the weld and maintains long-term durability in the welded joint under high-stress conditions.
