Stainless Steel 201 Sheets and Plates contain 16% to 18% Chromium, 3.5% to 5.5% Nickel, and 5.5% to 7.5% Manganese, with low carbon content (around 0.15%). They have high tensile strength (approximately 520 MPa), good yield strength (about 275 MPa), and elongation of around 45%. These sheets and plates offer moderate corrosion resistance and excellent formability. Although they are not as corrosion-resistant as SS 304, they are stronger and more affordable. They are non-magnetic when annealed and may become magnetic after cold working. Their mechanical properties make them suitable for forming, cutting, and fabrication processes across various industries.
